Why we started dolygood
Buying serious outdoor gear online is harder than it should be. A generator is not a phone case: it is heavy, it has an engine, and it matters most on the worst night of the year. Prices jump from site to site, listings hide freight fees in the fine print, and when something goes wrong you end up talking to a chatbot.
We started dolygood to do the opposite. A hand-picked catalog of equipment we would put in our own backyards and workshops. One clear price on every page. And a support team in Brooklyn that picks up the phone, knows the catalog, and can actually help you size a generator for your home or choose between two grills.
We are not a marketplace and we don’t list everything. If a product is on dolygood, it’s because we compared it against the alternatives and think it’s worth your money.
What we sell
Sixteen categories, each curated the same way: a shortlist of proven models from the brands that lead them.
Backup power
Generac, Champion, Westinghouse, DuroMax — generators that keep the fridge cold, the sump pump running and the lights on when the grid quits.
Grilling & pizza nights
Weber, Napoleon, Big Green Egg, Alfa Forni — from Tuesday burgers to slow-smoked brisket and blistered-crust pizza.
Yard work, four seasons
Stihl and Husqvarna chainsaws, Simpson pressure washers, leaf blowers and snow blowers — one toolkit for the whole year.
Backyard living
Sheds that finally fit everything, pergolas for the long evenings, and above-ground pools for the hottest weeks of July.
Fireside evenings
Real Flame, Elementi, Dimplex — fire pits and fireplaces that stretch the season well past Labor Day.
The workshop
Grizzly band saws, miter saws, DEWALT and Milwaukee tool kits, air compressors — for the projects that build the backyard.
A year with dolygood
Spring starts with the pressure washer: winter grime off the siding, the deck ready for stain, the grill rolled out and scrubbed. Summer is pool water at the perfect temperature, smoke drifting over the fence, and pizza night from an oven hotter than your kitchen will ever be while the kids chase fireflies past bedtime.
Fall means leaf piles, one last mow, and a chainsaw humming while the firewood stack grows along the shed wall. And winter — winter is when the neighbors’ lights go out and yours stay on. The snow blower waits by the door, the generator is tested and ready, and the fire pit is still crackling under a sky full of stars.
That’s not a catalog. That’s the year we’re stocking for.

How we keep prices fair
We run lean: one warehouse, a small team, and no retail stores. We buy in volume directly from brands and authorized distributors, and we pass the difference on instead of spending it on advertising.
The price you see on the product page is the price you pay. No hidden handling or freight fees at checkout, no fake “was” prices, and free shipping already included.
